Interconnection is the exchange of information between a uniquely recognizable machine (equipped with an IP address) in a network with other internal (or external) systems of the company, based on standard communication protocols.

FERMOR provides a standard series of variables for its machines, linked to the different aspects of the machinery, in order to provide complete feedback on:

- machine status

- alarms
- efficiency
- production
- recipes
- telemetry
- maintenance

In February 2023, Fermor obtained the DIGITAL READY certification, certifying the correct implementation of the data model that the Italian Association of Textile Machine Manufacturers (ACIMIT) developed to standardize the management and production data of Italian textile machines.
